I don't really keep up with DeviantART nowadays and so as soon as this months sub has run out, I'm not re-subscribing.

NEWS: EXHIBITIONS.........

Exhibition cancelled
With regret, I announce that the TiK ToK Exhibition planned to start June 13th for 1 mth( at Lea Green, nr Matlock, Derbyshire) is now cancelled. This may be on again in the future and I'll update if it is.

The date of the exhibition at Shipley Park Visitor Centre has been changed and put back to 29th July for 2 weeks.
The work there will be cheaper priced than usual, to fit in with the venue. Because of this, most artwork for sale will be charcoal, drawings and pastels, along with abit of photography.

Sorry to anyone who planned visiting but it can't be helped.

Art Usage Announcement:
Effective as of Sept. 08, 2006

If you would like to use my artwork in tags, sigs, tubes, wallpapers, banners and ect.. you will now have to purchase a usage license from Artistic Minds Inc. (AMI).

I am a licensed artist, and will no longer be able to grant permission to freely use my artwork.
If you have obtained my permission in the past, you may continue to use my artwork after obtaining a license.
If you have made items in the past using my artwork, you will not be in violation. However, to make anything new using my artwork you must obtain a license.

I have come to this decision as I am becoming more and more busy of late. I don't have the time to personally keep up with where my art is being used, how it is being used and by whom any longer. That has become too much of a load for me to bare, and I feel my decision to go licensed is the best for my career, the integrity of my artwork and safest for my fans.

If you truly do like my work and love using it, then you really should consider getting a few of my license packages. I do hope you all understand the reasons I have decided to go licensed and will continue to support my art and myself. Please be sure to check out Artistic Minds Inc. for my packages once they become available.

I am currently working on some great photo packages for pspers, amongst them will be ocean, birds, animals, flowers, nature, landscapes, etc............. alot of variety though themed packs.
Also planning to do a lemur package hopefully sometime in the future - as many of you already know, I LOVE Lemurs!!!

Artwork packages too will be available soon.

These images will only be available through AMI and some wonderful tags can be made from them.

I was born in Derbyshire in the UK.
I spent part of my childhood living in NSW, Australia before moving back to the UK, again to Derbyshire, where I still reside.

Before getting married my maiden name was Shepherd and my Uncle, Eric Shepherd is an award winning wildlife artist residing in Melbourne, Australia. I keep in touch with him and love chatting about our artwork.
